About Us
Rooted in
Scripture.
Built on
Conviction
We Feel It Too
Light & Quill Co. began from a growing conviction that we are losing something essential in our hurry — unhurried intimacy with Christ and real connection with one another. In a world shaped by noise and activity, we believe small, steady rhythms matter. A letter received in the mailbox invites pause. Scripture read slowly invites depth. Relationship nurtured intentionally invites trust. Like a chapel bell in the distance, we hope to call people back to quieter and more simple days that invite deeper connection with Jesus and those He's called us to love.
What We Believe
Light & Quill Co. is rooted in the authority of Scripture. While we are not affiliated with any specific denomination, we affirm the core beliefs shared by historic Christianity and encourage all readers to remain active within a local church community.
We Believe:
- The Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God.
- There is one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, whose life, death, and resurrection secure salvation by grace through faith in Him.
- The Holy Spirit fills, transforms, and empowers believers for faithful living.
- The Church is God's design for discipleship and spiritual growth.
About Our Founder
Mine is a life that needed big redeeming and ran into a God so willing to redeem. I was born in Michigan, have two big brothers and was raised by a single mom who worked tirelessly. I raised two of my own beautiful children in Michigan, Antonio and Therese, now young adults, who will leave a greater legacy than I will ever leave.
I've served in ministry roles for many years, attended bible college in Colorado, then moved to Wyoming to work in full time ministry on the Wind River Indian Reservation. My husband (my hero) and I serve here in Wyoming and are also parents to four young children we took in over 2 years ago, three boys and a girl, ages 9, 10, 11 & 11. We are on a great adventure with Jesus that deserves some pause and the best of our attention. So we determine, with you, to live unhurried, and to keep the main things the main things.
