Light & Quill Co. is rooted in the authority of Scripture. While we are not affiliated with any specific denomination, we affirm the core beliefs shared by historic Christianity and encourage all readers to remain active within a local church community.
We Believe:

FAQs
Yes, we write the main letter to your loved one, rooted in scriptural encouragement, and tailor it based on the Letter Path you choose — Connection or Courage. You add the personal touch with your own optional message and photo uploads.
Yes, we encourage you to upload a personal message up to 750 characters along with 1–2 photos by the 18th of each month. It's what your loved one will anticipate the most. Just follow the simple upload link on your account. We print them and include them in your letter bundle each month.
If you forget or don't want to add personal uploads and would rather gift the monthly letter anonymously — we still bundle our beautiful letter and other Light & Quill inserts and mail it to the recipient without them. Each month you can decide whether or not to submit uploads that month. We accommodate what works best for you.
They will only know if you include a personal message and/or photos that we print and include. Otherwise the letter is simply sent by Light & Quill, noting that it was gifted by a loved one, and is still beautifully bundled with our meaningful letter and inserts. Either way is impactful and tailored to your choice.
The upload window for personal messages and photos opens on the 1st of each month and uploads must be submitted by the 18th of each month by midnight to be included in the upcoming month's letter bundle. If you don't submit any uploads by the 18th, we will still send our beautiful letter bundle without them. Any uploads submitted after the 18th will be included, not in the upcoming letter bundle, but in the month after. We will send you a reminder 7 days before your submission deadline with a simple link to upload your message and photos.
Both Connection and Courage Letters are mailed on the 1st of every month. Please allow 3-8 days for domestic deliveries. Shipping times vary by location.
Any time, no hassle. We understand that life rhythms change & we value your trust. We will never use manipulative sales tactics to try to keep your business. Simply log in to your account and click "cancel my subscription." Cancellations apply to future mailings and must be made by the 18th to prevent the next month's letter from being processed and mailed.
Yes — log in to your Light & Quill account any time to update the delivery address for your subscription letters.
Yes, we deliver to most countries except for those on the USPS restricted list. Added postage may apply.

Yes! You're welcome to subscribe for yourself too. We all love getting something thoughtful in the mail. You'll receive the same Christ-centered letters that encourage unhurried faith and intimacy before activity.
If a recipient contacts Light & Quill and no longer wishes to receive the monthly letter bundle, we will honor that request and notify the sender who can either choose to gift the letter bundle to a different loved one or cancel it.
